Start with the wheel and your first battle

The run begins with a spin and a Treecko starter. Before copying the route, read your own result and available moves: the current help says each run receives a random Lv5 starter from 29 possibilities.

At 03:00, the battle panel puts the move list beside PP, type and power. Read these details before selecting an attack; a move with no usable PP or an ineffective matchup cannot be evaluated by its name alone. The starter and early opponent in this video are examples, not a fixed opening.

Compare the three relic offers

At 06:37, Swap Harness offers damage reduction on the turn a Pokémon switches in, Bait Pouch lowers wild encounter level with an experience trade-off, and Binding Oath combines more damage with an end-of-turn HP cost. Read the downside as well as the headline benefit.

The current help says bosses and Elites offer three relic choices and relics persist for the run. A dealer at some campfires can also sell them. The pictured pool is one offer; it is not a complete relic list or a universal ranking.

Read event choices before committing

The Trap Line screen at 07:31 shows multiple choices with conditions or costs. At 08:07 the journal records freed creatures and a Swap Harness reward in this particular run. That sequence is more useful than treating all Unknown nodes as a single random payout.

Current help explains that some characters react to earlier choices in later acts, while some options use a d20 check. Modifiers can depend on relationships, Pokémon and carried items. A displayed check in one event does not establish a general chance formula.

Trace a connected route before chasing a reward

At 08:07, the map and Paths Ahead panel show the actual choices from the player marker. You can only advance to connected stops; nearby icons on another branch are not necessarily reachable. The help says you cannot go back.

Choose a branch around a concrete need: a wild capture opportunity, recovery, a purchase or an Elite reward. This is a planning method, not a measured best route. Ordinary fights scale to the team’s average level, so benching the strongest member is not described as making the road easier.

Use the capture prompt, then inspect the result

The 09:42 frame shows a subdued Gimmighoul with a capture choice in this older run. The current help’s general instruction is to defeat a wild Pokémon, then throw one ball or leave. Trainer-owned Pokémon cannot be caught.

Each encounter permits one throw. A successful catch joins the party or, when all six slots are occupied, goes to the Box. The filmed Elite example is not evidence that every current Elite or boss is catchable; use the current encounter prompt.

Check the evolution log and the right stone

At 10:00 the journal records Treecko evolving into Grovyle. That confirms the result in the video but does not measure an exact evolution threshold. The current help documents automatic level evolutions and separate stone methods.

Elemental stones cost 1,150 Coins. Link Stone costs 1,600 and appears after a team member reaches Lv40; Special Stone costs 800 for listed non-stone item evolutions. Those current prices and methods are from official help, not a claim that the video purchased or tested those stones.

Plan shop spending around the next task

At 18:58, the merchant panel separates balls, potions, stones, TMs and cases. The player buys balls, then notices a potential Gloom evolution and regrets not keeping more Coins. This is a useful resource trade-off to recognize, not proof that stones should always take priority.

Check your balance and the current item description before buying. TMs enter the bag and are taught through Team. The screenshot’s berry and potion prices belong to this recorded visit; check today’s shop before budgeting from them.

Separate campfire healing from using a Revive

Later in the run, the player reaches a rest and dealer choice, then opens Team with a fainted Gumshoos. The frames at 25:47 and 25:52 show a Revive being used and the remaining Revive disappearing. This is an older manual-use example, not a test of today’s automatic loss recovery.

Current help says losing automatically spends a Revive and returns you to the last campfire in the act, at half HP and with half your Coins lost. With no campfire the return is to the act start; with no Revive the loss ends the run. Protecting checkpoints and recovery budget matters before a risky branch.

What does this video leave out?

The run ends without a complete Pokémon League demonstration. It also does not operate the current leaderboard tabs or show a completed casino visit. Use the dedicated current-help guides for those rules rather than treating this recording as a full game completion.

The video was published October 2, 2026; its recorded build is unknown. The official help was read October 9, 2026. Older numeric ball chances, disputed boss labels and missing stone use examples are kept separate from current instructions.
