Battles are one Pokémon against one: the faster combatant acts first, type matchups affect damage and moves consume PP. A bag item takes your turn instead of an attack. A win restores 60% of damage taken, according to the current help.

What should you read before choosing a move?
Check both Pokémon, your current HP and the selected move’s PP and type. The filmed Treecko versus Yungoos battle at 03:00 shows the move list beside a PP, type and power panel, with Bag and Pokémon actions nearby.
A powerful-looking move still needs usable PP and a relevant matchup. The help gives damage multipliers from 0x to 4x; it does not provide a complete type chart or a damage formula in this excerpt.

TheDuoDesign · View sourceWhich actions spend a turn?
The faster Pokémon moves first under the documented battle rules. Attacking spends the selected move’s PP; choosing a bag item uses the turn instead of attacking. Compare the immediate need to recover with the attack opportunity you give up.
Burn, paralysis, sleep and poison can persist between turns. This statement does not establish how every status behaves after the battle, so read the current party and item descriptions before the next node.
How does healing after a win work?
The help describes restoring 60% of the damage taken after winning. That is not a promise of a full heal or 60% of maximum HP. Inspect remaining health before choosing the next stop.
Trainer nodes separately say the party heals afterwards. Keep that node-specific description separate from the general win recovery rule; the help excerpt does not give a single formula combining both.

A remaining Revive is consumed automatically after a battle loss. The run returns to the current act’s last visited campfire at half HP and loses half its Coins. Without a campfire it returns to the act start; without a Revive the loss ends the run.

The supplied feedback includes the symptoms below. They have no recorded build, reproducible test conditions or confirmed fixes. Compare the live move description with the battle log; preserve attacker, target, HP, turn order and status before relying on the effect in a risky encounter.
