How do you unlock and buy Link Stone?
The shop starts stocking Link Stone once someone on your team reaches Lv40. This condition refers to a team member; the help does not say that every intended evolution target must itself be Lv40.
Reach a connected Shop with at least 1,600 Coins and read the item listing. Preserve enough recovery supplies for the route after the purchase rather than assuming the stone is always the most urgent buy.
Which evolutions does Link Stone cover?
The official dataset lists 86 Link Stone relationships. These rows preserve its species names and in-game requirements. Check the offered form in Team when the same name has more than one branch.

How do you apply it to the right Pokémon?
Open Team, choose the intended Pokémon and use the evolution stone. Read the offered compatible result before confirming. For a branching species, check the official illustrated list for the form you want.
A missing offer is a reason to review the species and stone type, not to invent another hidden requirement. Apples, armor and teacups belong to Special Stone in this game; ordinary elemental-stone branches use their matching elemental stone.
Does the filmed evolution prove Link Stone works?
No. The 10:00 journal records Treecko evolving into Grovyle, which is a level-evolution example. The video does not show buying or applying Link Stone. The unlock, cost and named targets on this page come from current official help.
